Rockville, MD Bans Smoking At Parks & Golf Courses

Earlier this week the city of Rockville, Maryland saw the City Council vote 5-0 to ban smoking in the city owned plaza in the middle of Rockville Town Square as well as city parks which includes Red Gate Golf Course that is owned by the city. Oviedo, FL City Passes Public Smoking Ban

Tonight, October 5th the City Council of Oviedo, Florida which is located Northeast of Orlando will vote on a measure that would ban smoking in public areas such as city parks. In Massachusetts, Lee, Lenox and Stockbridge fall under the Tri-Town Board of Health and on October 19th the Board is expected to vote on raising the tobacco age to 21 joining 74 other towns and municipalities in the state.
