The La Verite 2009 was rolled in 2010 and release in 2011. This changed the aging process as instead of aging in bales, the tobacco has aged in the form of a cigar. The Allegheny County Housing Authority has stated effective immediately that five of its sites are being made smoke free. The county which included Pittsburgh has designated 330 units as non-smoking.
