Hudson, NH – Selected Tobacco forced to miss PCA 2024. Selected Tobacco, a leading name in the premium cigar industry, regrets to inform its valued partners, colleagues, and enthusiasts that it will not have a booth at the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show in Las Vegas this year.
The unfortunate circumstances arose during the 2023 PCA from Spain’s ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) restrictions, that have impacted international travel plans for Nelson Alfonso, owner of Selected Tobacco. Despite his deep desire to be present at PCA, these unforeseen circumstances forced Selected Tobaccos’ decision and booth space could not be secured at this year’s show.“We understand the importance of Selected Tobaccos’ presence at the PCA Trade Shows, and we share the disappointment of their absence,” said Oliver Nivaud, Director of Operations at United Cigars. “Despite the current challenges, we are actively working towards a positive outcome and remain hopeful that Nelson will receive the necessary authorization to personally attend.”
Alfonso, celebrated for his innovative contributions to the cigar industry and acclaimed designs, expressed his sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause to those expecting to visit the Selected Tobacco booth at the 2024 PCA Trade Show.
Despite Selected Tobaccos absence, Alfonso is hopeful about the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, and retailers at the PCA Trade Show in a different capacity than normal. Alfonso shared that he is working hard to be present at the United Cigar booth to share his latest releases and engage with the retail partners that help define the premium cigar community. Selected Tobacco lines will be on display within the United Cigar booth for the 2024 PCA Trade Show.
