Cigar Review

Padron 50th Anniversary Maduro

I feel compelled to start this review with a small disclaimer. On this planet there is not a single scenario surrounding a cigar that could cause one of them to command a price tag of $106 in a tax-free state. That price would be ridiculous even if the field growing the tobacco was fertilized from the personal out house of Jose Oliva, Watered by the tears of Nelson Alfonso, and if each leaf was massaged […]

Camacho Liberty 2015

As much as Camacho has undergone a serious rebranding, the Camacho Liberty has remained on point with the original. With each cigar packed in an individually numbered coffin, and 20 count humidor style boxes the Liberty is for me the crown jewel of limited edition cigars right up there with another cigar that is due to arrive next week in terms of packaging. This year the Camacho Liberty 2015 is a Nicaraguan puro with a Corojo […]

Tatuaje M80 2015 Release

In 2011, David Garofalo (Two Guys Smoke Shop) and Pete Johnson (Tatuaje) teamed up for the creation of the M80. Originally pitched as the Firecracker, Pete Johnson passed on the project that was initially done by Pepin. Following up on that cigar the two came up with the M80 concept and the original 500 box order sold out in 48 hours. Fast forward to the fall of 2014 when Pete and Dave worked out the […]

Davidoff Classic No. 1 Lancero

With one of my co-workers on vacation this week I’ve become to go to guy in mail order at Two Guys Smoke Shop and for some reason there seems to be a run on Davidoff Cigars today especially the Classic and Thousand Series. So when the mood struck for a Lancero smoke, I opted to smoke, you guessed it, a Davidoff. According to the website, “Classic No. 1’s Panetela Larga format allows an abundance of […]

La Flor Dominicana L300 Cabinet

This time of year with all the new cigars coming out we tend to neglect our go to cigars, and for me one of those cigars for when I want something full-bodied is the La Flor Dominicana L300. For me it feels like the cigars coming from Litto Gomez aren’t your typical Dominican cigar, and that is a good thing. According to their website The L300 is made with the darkest, richest Ecuadorian Sumatra wrappers you […]

Tatuaje Verocu No. 3

Yesterday we caught up with Pete Johnson of Tatuaje to discuss the arrival of the M80 which is set to arrive at Two Guys Smoke Shop the week of June 22nd (we hope), although it will probably be the end of the week. During the conversation Pete also informed us that the Tatuaje Verocu would be released in 6 sizes at IPCPR and features the same blend as the Tatuaje Verocu No. 1 Lado Occidental […]

The Firecracker Corojo

In 2007 David Garofalo had an idea to create a cigar that had a fuse attached to it and call it the Firecracker. The first version of the cigar was offered to Pete Johnson of Tatuaje who didn’t like the idea and passed. The idea was then pitched to Don Pepin Garcia who though Dave was “loco” but agreed to do the cigar anyway as an exclusive to Two Guys Smoke Shop. Eventually the production […]

This weekend Nestor Miranda and Jason Wood from Miami Cigar & Company will be in town for a Father’s Day dinner as well as the nationwide launch of Danno. The cigar which pays homage to Nestor’s son is available in three wrappers, with each being limited to 1,000 boxes.
