Tierra Volcan to release Fino at IPCPR
GRANADA, NICARAGUA – July 1, 2015 – Granada based Mombacho Cigars S.A. (Mombacho) announced today the expansion of its Tierra Volcan and Mombacho lines with a new Fino vitola. The Fino will be a 6 x 44 corona larga and will be available for distribution immediately after IPCPR New Orleans.
“The Fino project was conceived in early 2014 and was the first new size we rolled at our new factory, Casa Favilli” said Claudio Sgroi, Master Blender for Mombacho Cigars S.A. “We are very proud of the Fino, it is one of the best expressions of our Tierra Volcan blend and the result of our quality-focused philosophy.”
The Fino will be the fifth vitola in the Tierra Volcan line, joining the Clasico (5 1/2 x 50), Corto (4 x 50), Grande (6 1⁄4 x 54) and Volcanito (4 1/2 x 26), and comes in a 16-count box. Suggested MSRP is $9.25.
Tierra Volcan is a Nicaraguan puro:
- Wrapper: Habano sun grown from Jalapa
- Binder: viso Habano-Criollo Condega
- Filler: mix of tobaccos from Jalapa/Condega
Tierra Volcan is currently available through Brick and Mortar retailers across the US.
