This week, Drew Estate unveiled an exciting new addition to its popular Deadwood Tobacco. line—the Deadwood The Girl With No Name Lonsdale. This 7 x 44 cigar, featuring a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a proprietary filler blend, will start hitting shelves soon, delivering a unique, mysterious experience to fans of the Deadwood series. Packaged in boxes of 20, it promises both flavor and allure.
The Deadwood The Girl With No Name line has historically been offered as exclusive releases for select stores. This new Lonsdale addition will bring the same enticing flavor and aura to a wider audience, making it more accessible for those who have yet to try it. The Mexican San Andrés wrapper, known for its rich, earthy tones and robust character, enhances the cigar’s complex profile, while the undisclosed filler blend keeps the cigar shrouded in a sense of mystery.
Jonathan Drew, co-founder and president of Drew Estate, shares a unique personal connection to the new release, tying it to the legendary U2 song “Where the Streets Have No Name”, which he recalls was inspired by Managua, Nicaragua. “On a personal level, GWNN is one of the dopest concepts because it strikes a chord with the song “Street With No Name” by U2,” said Drew. “It was during my early days in Nicaragua, circa 1998, when I learned that the famous U2 song was actually about Managua, Nicaragua. The streets ain’t got no names over der, but you just kind of know where you are, you ain’t lost. GWNN is definitely mysterious, but in your heart, you just know her. You feel me, people?”
The Deadwood The Girl With No Name Lonsdale will begin shipping to retailers this week, and anticipation is high among both fans of the brand and curious newcomers. Drew Estate’s Deadwood line is known for its unconventional, bold branding, and this new release is set to keep the legend alive, one puff at a time.
