EPC Encore Noir has arrived in the US to launch at Two Guys Smoke Shop. Crafted with precision and passion, Encore Noir embodies the artistry of tobacco blending, drawing from the rich soils of Ecuador, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. This unique blend builds upon the legacy of the E.P. Carrillo Encore, which was awarded Cigar Aficionado’s #1 Cigar of the Year in 2018 and features an Ecuadoran wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and a curated mix of fillers sourced from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
Presented in a singular size known as Majestic No. 2, each Encore Noir cigar measures 5 3/8 inches by 52 ring gauge, boasting a rounded shape, with production limited to just 3,000 boxes this year world-wide, each containing 10 cigars, Encore Noir promises an exclusive and unparalleled smoking experience. The inaugural release sees 2,500 boxes destined for international markets, with just 500 boxes earmarked for two special events in the United States, featuring the esteemed presence of Jorge Luis Fernandez Maique of E.P. Carrillo and main contributor to exploring the transformation of the original Encore blend. Prior to coming to E.P. Carrillo, Maique served as President of Habanos S.A. in Cuba and was the creator behind the Cuban Cohiba Behike blend. The first of three exclusive events begins today at Two Guys Smoke Shop in New Hampshire.
Encore Noir offers a robust flavor profile, featuring an aged wrapper of higher priming. The U.S. cigar industry looks forward to the launch of a cigar that brings the old world to the new world.
On Saturday, August 3rd Jorge Luis Fernandez Maique will be live on The Cigar Authority to dicuss this new project & launch the product on 2GuysCigars.com during the show.
