EPC ships Encore Black to stores this week. Renowned cigar maker E.P. Carrillo has unveiled an exciting addition to its acclaimed Encore series with the release of Encore Black. This limited-production cigar boasts a darker wrapper and a bolder blend, promising aficionados an unforgettable smoking experience. Encore Black, crafted at Casa Carrillo in the Dominican Republic, is making its way to retailers starting today, offering enthusiasts a chance to indulge in its rich flavors and impeccable construction.
Encore Black stays true to its name, featuring a luscious Connecticut broadleaf maduro wrapper that promises a visually striking and flavor-packed smoking adventure. Complementing this wrapper is a Mexican San Andrés binder. Inside, a carefully curated mix of Nicaraguan fillers sourced from Condega, Estelí, and Jalapa.
Unlike its predecessor, the regular production Encore line which is characterized by its all-Nicaraguan blend and medium-bodied profile, Encore Black steps up the intensity. E.P. Carrillo describes it as a medium-to-full-bodied cigar, offering enthusiasts a more robust smoking experience.
Encore Black is available in a single vitola, a box-pressed toro measuring 5 3/8 inches long by 52 ring gauge. Priced at a suggested retail price of $17 per cigar and packaged in boxes of 10. With a production limited to just 5,000 boxes this year, of which 2,000 are shipping immediately.
