Today via Twitter; Hammer + Sickle unveiled the forthcoming Museum Series set to be released at IPCPR. The image was accompanied with the quote, “When is a cigar jar more than a cigar jar? When it is a global icon of course.”
The jar is designed to look like the spires of the world renown St. Petersburg Church of the Savior of Spilled Blood (Церковь Спаса на Крови). The church was designed by Alfred Alexandrovich Parland, a little-known artist at the time who was born in St. Petersburg to a Baltic-German Lutheran family in 1842.
Inside the beautifully crafted packaging, the Hammer + Sickle Museum Series will contain an original 6 x 50 Moscow City cigar that has been aging for more than 5 years. Look for a review of the cigar later this week with more information here on TheCigarAuthority.com.
