Cigar companies have long been aging tobacco inside rum and bourbon barrels but this year Davidoff travels down a road that has been less traveled with the Winston Churchill Late Hour. The cigars see the Nicaraguan filler tobacco aged inside a speyside whiskey barrel for up to 6 months.
The cigar will be available in three sizes; Robusto (5 x 50, MSRP $17.50), Toro (6 x 54, $19.10) and Churchill (7 x 48, $20.10) and are expected to his Davidoff appointed merchants in early August.
We met up with Jordan Farkas from Davidoff to hear about the cigar first hand.
