Law | Columbia, MO Bans Smoking In Public Housing

In the city of Columbia, Missouri the Public Housing Authority has announced that beginning May 1, 2015 it will become illegal for residents to smoke in public housing units. According to the Gestapo Housing Authority, this is being done to make residents healthier.

According the United States Department of Housing, there are churning more that 225 housing authorities across the country that have or are in the process of adopting anti-smoking regulations.

Columbia, MO is home to 115,000 residents over 60.23 sq miles and was founded in 1818.
