The new law was passed by the city council on Tuesday and goes into effect immediately. Violating the new law is punishable by $50 for the first offense, $100 on the second offense, and $200 for the third offense.
Moline, Illinois is home to 44,000 residents over 16.66 square miles and was founded in 1848.
