August 25, 2014 (Miami, Florida) – Tabacalera Puros Aliados of Danli, Honduras, in partnership with Kafie 1901 Cigars, are proud to announce that they have officially celebrated their first year in business together. The Kafie 1901 Cigars company arrived on the scene with the debut of the Don Fernando maduro blend. A blend named after the patriarch of the Kafie family. A family with a history that dates back to 1901 in Honduras.
The Don Fernando maduro offers a Nicaraguan Habano maduro aged 6 years. This blend is offered in 4 vitolas. A VI Sixty (6 x 60), Toro Bello (6 x 54), V Sixty (5 x 60), and the ever popular Robusto (5 x5 0), all of which come is a cabinet style, 100% cedar, 20 count box.
In celebration of their 1 year anniversary, they are introducing a new Torpedo (6.5 x 53). The Torpedo vitola has always been very elegant and reserved for special occasions. The new ring gauge will also offer a new interpretation of an already succesful blend.
The Torpedo vitola will be available in mid – October, 2014 and will be packaged in similar 100% cedar box, in a 10 count presentation. MSRP on the Torpedo vitola is set at $7.99.
