Perdomo Cigars has announced the release of Perdomo Legacy Father & Son, a limited-production extension of the Legacy line that brings together two generations of blending expertise. The project represents a collaborative effort between Nick Perdomo and Nicholas Perdomo III, highlighting both individual blending styles and a shared vision rooted in the company’s family tradition.
Central to the Perdomo Legacy Father & Son series is Nicaraguan Shade Grown tobacco, a proprietary varietal developed by Nick Perdomo. This release marks the first time this tobacco has served as the foundation of a blend within the Perdomo Legacy line, offering a distinct profile defined by natural sweetness, subtle spice, and refined balance.
The line consists of three blends:
- Nick Perdomo’s blended the Shade Grown Wrapper version utilizes lower primings of the Nicaraguan Shade Grown tobacco, resulting in a medium-bodied profile with a smooth, slightly oily character.
- Nicholas Perdomo III developed a Maduro version that leans into richer, fuller-bodied characteristics, showcasing a more modern blending approach.
- The Connecticut blend, created collaboratively by both father and son, rounds out the offering with a balanced and nuanced profile.
All three blends incorporate Nicaraguan Shade Grown tobaccos to maintain a consistent identity across the series. Each cigar is constructed using tobaccos aged between 10 and 15 years, drawn from select harvests between 2011 and 2016. The filler tobaccos originate from Perdomo’s farms in Condega, Jalapa, and Estelí regions.
The Perdomo Legacy Father & Son release will be produced in a 6 x 60 x 52 Gran Figurado format. Cigars will be packaged in 50-count chests handcrafted in Perdomo’s box factory, with an expected retail price of approximately $15 per cigar.
Perdomo Legacy Father & Son will debut at Two Guys Cigars & 2GuysCigars.com in May, celebrating the one-year anniversary of the original Legacy launch, ahead of its nationwide release in Q4 of 2026.
