The Cigar Hall of Fame Class of 2025 Unveiled

The cigar world celebrated history in the making as two legendary names—Padron Cigars and Arturo Fuente—were officially inducted into The Cigar Hall of Fame during a live ceremony at the New England Cigar Expo before a crowd of more than 500 passionate cigar enthusiasts.

Since formed in 2023, The Cigar Hall of Fame exists to honor cigar brands that have left an indelible mark on the industry. With a permanent home online at TheCigarHallOfFame.com, the Hall serves as a living digital archive, preserving stories, images, and videos of the icons that have shaped the cigar world for over a century.

This year’s Class of 2025 welcomed two true giants:

Cigar Hall of FamePadron Cigars – Founded in 1964 by José Orlando Padrón, Padron has become synonymous with quality, tradition, and excellence. For over 60 years, their cigars have earned the loyalty of enthusiasts worldwide. Accepting the honor on behalf of the family was second-generation President Jorge Padrón, son of the late José O. Padrón.

Arturo Fuente Cigars – Established in 1912 by Arturo Fuente in West Tampa, Florida, the brand has grown to become one of the most recognizable and respected names in the global cigar industry. Today, the Fuente family continues its legacy of craftsmanship from the Dominican Republic. Accepting the honor was third-generation patriarch Carlito Fuente, grandson of the founder.

 

With these inductions, Padron and Arturo Fuente join an elite circle of icons already enshrined in the Hall of Fame, including Cabañas, Cuesta-Rey, Davidoff, Perdomo, La Flor Dominicana, and Rocky Patel.

The Cigar Hall of Fame exists to celebrate the history, passion, and artistry of this industry. Padron and Fuente are not just brands—they are institutions that have inspired generations of cigar smokers around the world.

Nominations are now officially open for the Class of 2026, inviting cigar lovers and industry leaders to submit the next round of worthy legends for consideration.
