In South Hadley, Massachusetts the Board of Health met yesterday and passed the new measure with a unanimous vote. The new law will go into effect on April 1st. On Wednesday, Portland City Council will hold a hearing discuss a city-wide smoking ban in public parks. The hearing comes in advance of a vote by the City Council that is scheduled for February 18.
