HVC Cigars is bringing a piece of Cuban cigar history back to humidors with the release of HVC La Decoración, a revival of the defunct 19th-century Cuban brand. The brand was first shown during the 2026 PCA Trade Show in April. This new regular production line has now arrived in stores marking another major release from HVC founder Reinier Lorenzo.
Originally established in Cuba during the 1800s, La Decoración now returns reimagined through HVC’s modern Nicaraguan approach to cigar making. Produced in Nicaragua, the blend features an Ecuadorian 2000 wrapper over Nicaraguan tobaccos sourced from the renowned Estelí and Jalapa growing regions. HVC describes the blend as medium-bodied, offering a balanced smoking experience built around rich flavor, refined complexity, and smooth construction.
Adding to the presentation, the inside lid artwork pays tribute to the Catedral Metropolitana de La Habana, the iconic Havana cathedral founded in 1777. The packaging and branding continue HVC’s focus on Cuban heritage and classic cigar culture while delivering a contemporary premium cigar experience.
The HVC La Decoración line is available in four soft-pressed vitolas giving smokers a variety of sizes to experience the blend across different formats:
Robusto (5.5 x 52)
Toro (6.5 x 54)
Churchill (6.5 x 50)
Grandote (6 x 60)
For cigar enthusiasts looking to experience the full lineup, HVC is also offering a limited sampler featuring one of each vitola. For now, only 300 samplers have been produced, making it an especially appealing option for collectors and fans eager to explore the entire range.
With La Decoración, HVC continues its reputation for combining old-world inspiration with modern Nicaraguan craftsmanship. The release not only revives a historic Cuban name but also introduces a fresh medium-bodied blend designed for today’s premium cigar smoker.
