In Des Moines, Iowa a new bill has been introduced in the State Legislature that would require casinos to comply with the state’s smoking ban. Law : New York State Looking to Ban Flavors

There are currently two bills pending in the New York State Assembly (A 128) and Senate (S 1825) that would ban characterizing flavors in most tobacco product. The bill feature language that would ban all “characterizing flavors” except for tobacco, mint, wintergreen and menthol. Yesterday, January 13th, 2015 the Marion County Board of Commissioners voted to adopt an ordinance that bans the use of all tobacco products on any county property. In addition to the ban, the county will begin phasing out designated smoking areas over the next 18 months. Previously a ban had exited that was limited to cigarettes and electronic cigarettes.
